Ability to enter/scan UPC codes
It takes a long time to enter each title and issue #1. It would be great if ones with UPC could be scanned, say by mobile phone, and added to one's collection.

Create an app or mobile version of the site.
Making an app or mobile version would be great because then someone could post their newest finds right away and not wait till they got home or to a wifi spot.
187 votesVersion 1 of the App is now live. You can access at: http://app.comicbookrealm.com
There is also a forum devoted to the app for your feedback.

View Comic covers in your collection
It would be so helpful to me if there was a button in all my piles so I could view what comic I am looking for. Volumes and publishers are okay, but i have tons of comics, a lot with the same title but different series, It gets confusing for me more often than not.

Comic book grading app?
Grading a comic accurately and honestly is pretty tricky.
It would be great to have an app that allows you to simply click boxes, then comes up with a rating.
Example:
A) Cover
A.1 Completeness (0% missing, 0<.5si missing, .5-1si missing, ...)
A.2) Creases (none, 0-1 inch, 1-3, inch, ...)
A.3) Marks:size (none, <.5i)(etc)
It could then be printed or saved with a linkable URL for referenced
I'm a programmer myself and might be interested in helping out.

I would like to see a top gains and a top drops section for users collections.
Maybe show each month the top 5 or 10 books that have gone up in value
in their collection and the top books that have gone down in value142 votesI am going to mark this complete because there has always been the On the Move report.

A monthly sort button & highlighted new listings in "on the move"
My eyes are killing me looking for daily comics that went up & 2 months mixed. Can we get a button that separates the months in order?
Recently added comics to "On the Move" should be highlighted so it's easier to spot.
139 votesThere is now a new "On the Move by Date" report that sorts the list by date changed most recent first.

Show Piles in the App
Just like I can see my Want List, I'd like to be able to see my Piles in the mobile app as well. That way when I'm on my phone, I still have all the information I need about my collection
139 votesI am marking this complete because we have a native app for iOS and Android now. Also the site is mobile friendly.

Report of top valued comics
My suggestion would be to rank the top issues in descending order based on the Value of your comic. Currently it is ranked by the Profit you show on the book. If I have a $1000 book I paid $800 for, it would be ranked below the $500 book I paid $200 for.

Sort the list by the actual book value in "Most Valuable" report
Currently this report appears to list the books you have in Descending Order by the highest Profit amount, not the highest Book Value. The title of the report suggests it should list by the value of the book you have, not the profit.

Top 10 highest priced comics
Would it be possible to have a quick list of the top 10 highest priced comics in all of a user's comic piles?

chart value of individual comics over time
I'd like to see a numerical or visual chart of the values of individual comics over time. I know the data is available in bulk when you look at the value of your pile, but I'm always interested in which comics went up or down in value to affect that change. Just a list maybe, of historical values in past months, but a graph would be great too.
36 votesOk…I was able to squeeze this in during some free time. You should now see a pricing graph next to the “current value”. Click on this and you should see the historical pricing for each comic.
As always please let me know if anything is out of whack.

Add a report filter that shows all the issues that you have more than one copy of.
Maybe add this to the many other report filter ideas that CBR members are suggesting. This could be helpful in managing your collection, trading and selling.

Notifications when comics in your collection have a significant change in value.
Often my Collection Value and Estimated Profit fluctuate, sometimes by hundreds of dollars. It would be great to receive a notification when one of our books is significantly trending up or down (green/red arrows).
I have a few thousand books across many different titles, and I simply can't find the source of a sudden $100 dollar jump in value by scanning my piles. Trending notifications can tell us if we own a book that just went hot, or one that has suddenly cooled down (after a well received or disappointing movie release for example.)
27 votesUse the On the Move Report to see what books in your collection (or the entire database) have gone up or down in value.

Set "Asking Price" for entire pile
I would like the column header for "Asking Price" to be editable so we can set the price for an entire pile. This wasn't as helpful in the past but with the new % option now I'd like to set my entire sell pile to 50% for example and just use a couple of keystrokes.
26 votesYou can now edit the ask price on a title by title basis.

Create a Trading Card Database
create a new tab of sorts to make the searching easier, set up the same way as the comics but obviously for trading cards, also maybe a Master Collection Page to see all collections at once, but still separated....
