Ignore Apostrophes and other special characters when sorting Titles
In my Master Pile, I had trouble finding a comic I had added because it's called "The 'Nam". I kept looking in the N's. Turns out, it was at the top of my list because it was using the 'apostrophe' as the sort criteria. The system is programmed to ignore the 'The' in titles starting with 'The' but it seems to stop there. I think conventional sorting rules would also ignore special characters when sorting.

Search bar for the issue numbers
It would be really helpful if there was a way to search a specific issue number so you don't have to scroll through all 100+ comics to get to one.

I think you should be able to pay a subscription fee to get a site with no advertisements.
I use this site for my business and to keep track of a lot of different variables. It continually freezes or runs slow for me because of the ads on the side. I've been a member for almost a decade, I would more than pay a subscription to access an ad free version of the site.

Ability to delete multiple books from want list
I'd like a feature to delete all the books from my want list, something like a select all option for every series in the list instead of having to manually select each issue.

Additional Notes for Character Appearances
Maybe some of these could be added but here are some I think would be useful
PO: (Preview Only) --- for when a character only appears in a preview for a different book. I think this should be added because, as I input characters, I want to add in these other characters since they are technically in the book. But by adding them, I do not want to confuse people who might think they appear in the actual story. An example would be Capes #1 which features a preview for Walking Dead.
1F: (1st app in Flashback) --- This is…

Polling/Vote option for users
Allow users to establish polls on the forums, which would allow other users to vote on those polls. This could also be used by Admin/moderators a trend analysis tool.

Want to see prices when looking at the sale piles
When I (we) divide our list of selling into piles for organization, why can't someone looking at my pile see the asking price on that pile view. I think that would help a lot.

Advanced Completion Report
…Can we add the ability to the completion report to catalog by 1st printing, rather than variant? Many publishers (ex Zenescope) print several cover price covers for each comic on the first printing. Right now if you get cover B instead of cover A, and run a missing comics report, ignoring variants, it wont pick up that you have a copy of that issue (because you ignored variants). I was thinkin maybe we could add an ability to request a completion report based on having any issue from first print, which might solve this kind of issue, and give a

Sharing the Site: Limited Public Viewing of my Wishlist & Collection...
So, I've been thinking of a new way to increase site traffic as well as a great way to help ourselves during gift-giving occasions.
Maybe tricky:
How-about we make Wishlists (and/or Collections) visible to friends and family without allowing them to make alterations to the lists or accessing my password (i.e. similar to Amazon).Even trickier:
I'd probably also want the option to keep some items off that "Viewlist" (i.e. embarrassing childhood choices/gifts or far-too-mature listings)."Share the fun-factor!"

Search Bar in Characters/Contributors
When we go to the Character List or Contributor list it would be nice to have a Search Bar added to the top as well so you do not have to sift through all the names by scrolling because that could take a while with letters that have a lot of entries. Another idea to add on to as well is maybe putting these search bars on the homepage too underneath "search by publisher" and search by series".

Add Cover Date, Era, Age,... in Piles.
Here are a few ideas I'd like to see added to all Piles/Lists;
Show Cover Date in Piles for quick reference instead of having to click on series Title, scroll, and click on individual issues to find the date, then go-back, or having to open another Tab and switch back and fourth.
Show comic "Era" column; i.e, "G" (Golden Age), "S" (Silver Age),.. Simple, helpful detail to quickly reference a comics age. And speaking of age, how about showing how old it is in real time?
Thanks for your consideration

Put last log in date above for sale list.
I think it would be nice to see the last time someone logged in when looking at there for sale list. That way I'm not searching and sending messages to people who haven't logged in in years.
Thanks this is an awesome site!!

Free Custom Export of Lists/Piles to MAC OS X (Pages, Numbers,.. PDF).
As the title requests..
Please implement the ability to custom export Lists/Piles to MAC OS X; Pages, Numbers,.. even PDF, w/o the need of points. Not sure why points are even necessary for such a common sense feature. Using Copy/Paste of Lists/Piles from website page is a PITA to cleanly edit when needing to simply share a list of issues, grade and price with prospective buyers not on CBR.

Thank you box for Forum
There are many times when we read a post that we might wish to thank the poster for what we consider useful information without actually posting. I have seen this feature on a number of different forums. Using a radio type button you could thank the user, and it just adds a list at the bottom saying: "These users found this post useful" and then has a list of names of people that have clicked the "Thanks" button.
This helps for when a poster makes a comment an no one adds to it to let them know that what they…

Make editing collection price, grade pile, etc. involve less steps
There's way too many steps involved in adding to and editing your collection. For instance say all of my comics were in my master pile, but I wanted to sort my collection into new piles by publisher. I'd have to (1) create the new pile (2) go to my realm (3) go to master pile (4) click on each series to expand it (5) click edit series (6) update pile. My suggestion is that there should be a settings option where the series can automatically be viewed in expanded form (eliminating "step 4"). Additionally, I think "step 1 and 5"…

Custom export fields
I donated to get the export feature, but I noticed the export doesn't show how many copies of each issue I have.
I only need Title,Issue #,current value, asking price in $ and quantity, per issue.
All the other stuff, I have to edit out in Excel.
I think we need some export options.4 votes
