having a button just to show what # you want.
I am a Collector of #1's thats all i really collect. if there was a way to show the comics that I have a #1 for it wont be so hard to look through the whole list to figure out which series i have a #1 for and which i don't im in and out of a lot of comics shops and this would help me a whole lot.

Ability to Filter or Report #1 Issues.
It would be nice to be able to show all the #1's that you own in your collection. Maybe placing a new report in the reports section just for #1's. There are a lot of people that collect #1 issues so this would be nice/handy to have them all in one place.

Add a designation in character special notes for 1st app. of a character as a cameo.
Since "1:" is the designation for a character's 1st appearance, maybe we can add a "1 Cameo:" or "1(c):" to differentiate when a character's first appearance is a cameo from their first full appearance, like Wolverine in Hulk #180 (cameo) and #181 (full). So "1:" will appear as "1st full appearance" and "1 Cameo" or "1(c):" will appear as "1st appearance (cameo)" in the characters block. And if a character has multiple cameos before their first full appearance, you might have to add a "2(c)" or "3(c)" as options.

enable users to sort collection by price.
The generic sort by title is certainly useful. But what if I need to pitch my most expensive book to buy something else off e-bay? Or tell a neighbour what my 3 most valuable issues are? I think I would have to explode all my titles to scan per issue.

State of the Realm report
I really like CBR and would like to see a quarterly or annual "state of the realm" report that shows the number of new users, new titles added, new characters added, new enhancement requests submitted, enhancements delivered, new lifetime users, and maybe a very high level annual financial summary (donations collected & amount spent).

Search for Publisher should have a "5 last searched" feature
Instead of scrolling through 100 alphabetical superfluous publishers, Marvel and DC should be listed first and the last 5 searches should be at the top of the list .... Sorta like in Microsoft Word when using the Fonts. They're alphabetized but the 5 most recent 'favorite' fonts are listed first for easier usage.

A summery database on the comics
You scan in the bar code, and it gives you a brief explanation on who wrote it, who draws it, what the premises of the book is, and what year it was published

Color Code Lists
Say you have multiple lists... Is it possible to color-code the numbers owned to the far right in the series page. Ex: In the Master List, the number owned would be blue. If the issue is in the sell list, the number would be red. Some random made list maybe green. The only problem I see with this is if you might have the same issue in different piles. Any thoughts?

Show the "About" Details in the APP.
The APP has been fantastic for going around and digging through boxes, While scrolling in the app for things I need (or Didnt know that I needed).
However...
It does not show the Details/About. Which seems to be the only place to check if it is a key issue, Such as 1st appearance, Origin, Death, Etc.This also seems to affect being able to look up:
Contributors
Characters
Collects
Events
HistoryAll of this information is already on CBR, Why not add it to the APP?

Add Wikipedia URL Fields
This field would render as a hot link on any given page for members to quickly get to the relevant wikipedia.org page which pertains to the current series, or parent series, akin to the Amazon link logo.
Spam trash would be minimized by eliminating any entered URL which does not contain http--xx.wikipedia.org at the beginning of the URL.
At least two fields would be needed, as one would point to the title list, and the other to the story arc or history page.

Check marks
When you look at the page where you edit your list, you have snazzy Carolina blue check marks for certified and signed comics. When you look at someone else's list, those check marks aren't there. They really stand out when you are skimming a long list and should be added.

UPC column
Since a cover gallery or thumbnail view does not seem likely to ever be developed, how about adding the UPC codes to the scrollable list of data to help in locating an issue. It would give the servers a break, because we wouldn't have to click on every single issue and load the cover to find what we are looking for.

Allow multiple entries before clicking "add to pile" button
When adding singletons you have to go through the whole process for every book. Search for the book, click the book, choose "add to collection", wait for pile page to load, make selections on pile page, choose "add to pile". Would be nice to be able to search for each one and choose "add to collection", then go and add them all to the pile at once. Not a huge deal but seems like it would be more convenient for singles where you aren't adding a large number of one title at a time.

Tracking error variants
It would be nice if there was a way to track the error variants or editions of comics that we own (maybe in a totally new section or feature in our collection or in the lists of the site). Currently the site tracks some well known error variants but not others.
