A comic grading program similiar to e-bigs.net, or comicbase.com
A system similar to the ones mentioned in the title. Additional options such as general spine wear, folds across the center of the cover, additional levels of damage and the ability to add a multiple of a particular damage (2 damaged corners, or 2 cover chips etc).
Also, if this could be tied into the existing collection system, one could update their comics with the included grade and grading notes.

Show Piles in the App
Just like I can see my Want List, I'd like to be able to see my Piles in the mobile app as well. That way when I'm on my phone, I still have all the information I need about my collection
139 votesI am marking this complete because we have a native app for iOS and Android now. Also the site is mobile friendly.

Inactive Member Notification
This comes up occasionally in the forums about willing buyers who can't get a hold of sellers they PM and they don't realize that the individual they are PMing has not been active on the site for a while.
My idea is to deactivate a seller's ability to sell if they have been inactive for a certain amount of months. This way it will alleviate the amount of books that are for sale from members on this site by only showing potential buyers the items that are on sale by active members. If a seller wants to have his items…

Search bar ideas
I think there should be a search bar for artists. Im a huge Skottie Young fan and am finding it difficult to find his work on Uncanny X-Force in the database. I also feel it would help me find more of his work or artists like him if you had a "search similar art" button. Otherwise LOVE the site!

Sort the list by the actual book value in "Most Valuable" report
Currently this report appears to list the books you have in Descending Order by the highest Profit amount, not the highest Book Value. The title of the report suggests it should list by the value of the book you have, not the profit.
59 votesThis has been completed. There are now two different reports. The Most Valuable shows what it should have all along whereas the new Most Profitable shows based upon “profit”.

Top 10 highest priced comics
Would it be possible to have a quick list of the top 10 highest priced comics in all of a user's comic piles?

Comic book grading app?
Grading a comic accurately and honestly is pretty tricky.
It would be great to have an app that allows you to simply click boxes, then comes up with a rating.
Example:
A) Cover
A.1 Completeness (0% missing, 0<.5si missing, .5-1si missing, ...)
A.2) Creases (none, 0-1 inch, 1-3, inch, ...)
A.3) Marks:size (none, <.5i)(etc)
It could then be printed or saved with a linkable URL for referenced
I'm a programmer myself and might be interested in helping out.

iPhone app?
I was told there was a CBR app... But it doesn't seem that is the case after throughly searching the site and forums. Let me know if I missed it!

A back-up file exporter
I am not sure if you guys have this feature, and I just don't know about it, however a back-up file exporter that can extract the information in your piles and put it into a Notepad or Word, maybe even Excel doc, would be a good feature. I mean it is a scary thought to put all of this information into the site for thousands of comics and all the details about them, just to run the risk that the site might go down or something and you lose all of that information.

Ability to enter/scan UPC codes
It takes a long time to enter each title and issue #1. It would be great if ones with UPC could be scanned, say by mobile phone, and added to one's collection.

Add the price Adjustment arrows in My Realm/Pile
Don't know if this has been brought up before but it would be nice to see the price adjustment arrows, green or red, in the My Realm/Pile page. That way if the value changes, we won't have to search through the pile title-by-title to see what prices were adjusted.

The ability to search by Character.
You know, when people list the characters in a comic, to be able to search the database using that information.
This could be helpful to character collectors like me, as I just found several dozen more appearances of Harley Quinn by compiling several different lists from the internet. Who knows how many more I do not know about.
Sincerely,
Shadowseer_Kim

Date Added
When you add a comic to your master pile, it records the date.
Sometimes I can't remember every book I bought in a 'lot', and being able to sort by date added, would show which books were added when.
You could sort by 'most recent first' or the reverse.

Create a way that instead of having to search for all your comics, you can create a pull list that will automatically list all new comics released that week.
