Comic book grading app?
Grading a comic accurately and honestly is pretty tricky.
It would be great to have an app that allows you to simply click boxes, then comes up with a rating.
Example:
A) Cover
A.1 Completeness (0% missing, 0<.5si missing, .5-1si missing, ...)
A.2) Creases (none, 0-1 inch, 1-3, inch, ...)
A.3) Marks:size (none, <.5i)
(etc)
It could then be printed or saved with a linkable URL for referenced
I'm a programmer myself and might be interested in helping out.
This has been completed for a while now on the website. It is being added to the apps too.

Dough Boy - I am a functional designer and looking to partner with a programmer to complete this in time for C2E2 next year (late April). Let me know the best way to contact you for further discussion.

Yes. There was a start made on it but it hasn't been finished.

Are you still interested in pursuing this?

This really is a great idea and so necessary. Applying petitio principii by assuming the majority of sellers are ignorant instead of dishonest (holy crap! My philosophy class wasnt wasted time after all!), this ckukd go a long way towards reducing the # of "VG" comics listed as "VF"! Looking forward to what Dough Boy comes up with. Will check out his recommended app in the interim.

That could be a good thing, as long as it is properly referred to using a real word. That word is application.

This is what Dough Boy is referring to when he says ebigs

This is on the long range plan, but you can always use ebigs until it is finished.
