    I've found most countries/regions have a website providing a good shared database, perhaps there's scope to import/share?

    For example, in Germany: www.comicguide.de or in Australia: ausreprints.net: "AusReprints documents Australian comics, focusing on the neglected reprints from the 1940s to the 1980s. The site has been developed with generous contributions of scans and information from many collectors. Click here for information on how you can help."
