I suggest you ...

Create an app or mobile version of the site.

Making an app or mobile version would be great because then someone could post their newest finds right away and not wait till they got home or to a wifi spot.

        2 Questions:

        1. What would the requirements need to be for the app? Is it just a view of the database and your collection? Or would it need to also be able to manipulate your collection?

        2. Since I don't think ads will work on an app (take up too much room), there will likely need to be some sort of subscription fee. What would you be comfortable paying on a monthly/yearly basis. For instance say there was a monthly fee of $x, but a yearly fee of $y (where $y was cheaper than $x * 12).

My initial thoughts are that the app itself is free for just getting pricing data, images, etc., but if you want to log in and view (interact if needed) your collection that is where the cost would come in.

Remember the fee would be used to provide the service and ads would not be on the app so the fees will have to cover the cost of the servers, development, etc.

PLEASE PLEASE make an app for this site! :) I have all my comics input here and have to input them into other iPhone apps right now, its a total pain in my ass, but I love having my comic collection with me so I know what I already have when I am at the comic shop. I would pay for the app as well.

Agree with the above posts. A mobile app would be awesome. I would have no problems what-so-ever paying for it.

I would definitely use this. So often I find myself in a comic shop looking through back issues and trying to remember which I need. Using the website to navigate is too slow, although I do appreciate that this is also probably because most of my comics are in my master pile - but that is a different issue I need to sort out!

That would be great. I have such a hard time using the site via phone.
