include some instructions on how to grade comics.
It's possible that this feature already exists here, but I haven't been able to find it.

Create a Trading Card Database
create a new tab of sorts to make the searching easier, set up the same way as the comics but obviously for trading cards, also maybe a Master Collection Page to see all collections at once, but still separated....

Inactive Member Notification
This comes up occasionally in the forums about willing buyers who can't get a hold of sellers they PM and they don't realize that the individual they are PMing has not been active on the site for a while.
My idea is to deactivate a seller's ability to sell if they have been inactive for a certain amount of months. This way it will alleviate the amount of books that are for sale from members on this site by only showing potential buyers the items that are on sale by active members. If a seller wants to have his items…

Search Comics by Release Date
Thought it would be interesting if you could search comics by release date/cover date. Could be set up to search by Publisher or all at once.
I know this would be only as accurate as the data entered and if it's entered at all, but that's a work in progress.16 votesThere is a new releases report for this.

A chart or report that lets you know when you added comics to your collection and what books where added.

Bring back the "Missing covers of comics you own" report
I used to use that report all the time to know very quickly which comics I can scan to help out. But now that it's gone it takes too much time for me to search on my own.
Since the report used to exist, is it easy to bring it back?

The ability to search by Character.
You know, when people list the characters in a comic, to be able to search the database using that information.
This could be helpful to character collectors like me, as I just found several dozen more appearances of Harley Quinn by compiling several different lists from the internet. Who knows how many more I do not know about.
Sincerely,
Shadowseer_Kim

Have a row for each comic if quantity > 1
If you enter a quantity of 2+ when adding a comic, the next screen shows only one line to edit the info. This is a problem if the two comics are different grades, or if you got one for free, or if you want them in different piles because you plan to sell one.
Instead of all the extra key strokes, I'd like each copy to show up on their own line and you could still hit the column header to set both, but this way you can edit them individually on the same screen.

Updated Print Runs from Diamond
I'm seeing a lot of comic without and print runs. Is it because it's time consuming or why? Here is a data base we can use. http://Comichron.com. Just knowing how many comics out there can help our judgment to how much value or potential it worth

Add an "add to collection or pile" button next to all the new releases for the week.
On the page of the new releases for the week, add a checkbox so users can add the new releases from the main page.

Default value for "selling price"
Sometimes the value of a book will change and your selling price may be outdated as a result. If you have 100s of books, that can be a pain if you're just thinking of asking for a % of book value.
So how about some way to set all your "for sale" books to have an asking price of x% of book value? That way if the book increases then your asking price will increase as well.
If the price goes down, same thing ...otherwise you may never get an offer on a $10 book if your asking price is…

set purchase price for entire pile
Have the drop down menu allow me to put the same purchase price in all comics.
i.e. I purchase 100 comics for 7.00- I want to be able to mark them all as 70c purchase and not have to do each individually.

Printable Database
Make a printable database. When print is selected, it changes to a PDF file for printing and emailing. SHould be able to coose whole file or chose just parts. Make it easy to send out lists of what you have, what you need or just sharing with a group. Also allow you to print and carry to shop or show to fill those needs lists.

Date Added
When you add a comic to your master pile, it records the date.
Sometimes I can't remember every book I bought in a 'lot', and being able to sort by date added, would show which books were added when.
You could sort by 'most recent first' or the reverse.

on the move
It would be GREAT to be able to switch between Owned-Comics and ALL-comics within the "On The Move" report so we can see value changes for comics we don't own as well. Thank you!!!

iPhone app?
I was told there was a CBR app... But it doesn't seem that is the case after throughly searching the site and forums. Let me know if I missed it!
