Drop Down Option for Cert;Sig; Comments & Notes
Was wondering if you could add an option while Cataloging to the top of the Certified, Signature, and Comments and Notes... to all the comics you added.
Not that its a big deal or not... but recently I found I needed to paste my comments to 5 or 6 of the same/similar books I just added. Likewise with Cert and Sig's.
It would be nice to just be able to click the top of either Cert or Sig and see all the books you added to have the same time.
As I stated before... this isnt an issue with me…

Add new/replace old block on main page
Personally I never get any use out of:
- What's Happening on CBR (indexing updates)
- CBR on Facebook. Has no bearing to me since you can't match the person up to CBR username, so it's just showing random ppl. How about just limit to a blurb of "1000 Likes on FB" minus the pics?)
- Too many covers. Random, Newest upper right, Newest at bottom, Recently Rated, and the scrolling Previews. It's just filler that acts like a disco ball.
- Members online: since many users have the same stock avatar, would be more helpful to have names spelled out, alphabetically, with friends…

Polling/Vote option for users
Allow users to establish polls on the forums, which would allow other users to vote on those polls. This could also be used by Admin/moderators a trend analysis tool.

Database reset
I am rebuilding my database from scratch and instead of individually erasing or creating a new handl, i would like a feature to reset the database to 0.

Members only feature or area
To entice more people to become lifetime members, what about members only feature or a members only area?
I think there's a excel option that members get but we need more features/exclusive area.

Adding a Variant Filter
When looking up a characters appearance tab, it would be nice if we could add variants to the list of filters we already have the option for (issues, annuals, giant sizes, etc).
So if we hit this filter it would get rid of all the b,c,d,e issues and just have the main issue.

When you do a SEARCH, would like to know if its possible to add a column that had the Issues you own along with Title Volume Years Publisher Issues

A field for Subtitle of the story
E.g., "To Hell and Back" or World War III Part 3-The Incan Strain.
Rather than put this in the Description, which may better serve as a place to put a story synopsis.

Be able to look at comics in the on the move reports by date
Right now it's just done alphabetically. It would be nice to be able to order them by date.

Reading list
I might be unique in wanting this feature, but maybe I'm not alone. I often find myself buying a stack of comics and unfortunately can't sit down and read the 100+ that day, or even that week. Then the next month they pile up a bit further and a bit further until I have a very unorganized stack of unread comics.
This does, however, extend to sorted comics that I've already boxed away without reading to clean space.
What I'd like to propose is a "reading list", or even a "Read" checkbox next to individual issues in a collection. Once…

Add a Notes/Comments data field to the "Want List.
This will allow users to add notes, such as "Alex Ross Variant" when marking issues becasue issue numbering (i.e., #2C) does not always match actual published numbering.

Exporting Pile data
Add "Cover Price" data/column when exporting piles in CSV format.
Or better yet, allow the user to choose which data/columns they can export.

Additional Notes for Character Appearances
Maybe some of these could be added but here are some I think would be useful
PO: (Preview Only) --- for when a character only appears in a preview for a different book. I think this should be added because, as I input characters, I want to add in these other characters since they are technically in the book. But by adding them, I do not want to confuse people who might think they appear in the actual story. An example would be Capes #1 which features a preview for Walking Dead.

Sort the users by geographic locations
So if browsing a user selling an item, can search based on georgraphic area to try and cut down shipping costs.
And if you find a user close enough, makes for trading comics a lot easier in person then waiting for one in the mail.8 votes -

Most sites have this option, instead of always going to page one, you have the option of going to the last unseen post.

Newsstand and Direct edition
Hi, I have posted on this before but will have a go at it again. It is my view that any listing should have both the newsstand and direct edition covers - in particular on the ones from the 70s and 80s. As a collector - one always tries to get all covers, just like is so common today with the variant editions.
The reply previously was that this was not a good idea as the two different versions have the same value. However, this would not be about the value of the comic, but rather for completeness for devoted…

time zone setting
Would like to be able to have the timestamp interpret my current time zone - either based on zip code or more likely add a TZ field to control panel. Makes forum posting much easier.

I would love to be able to search out my least valuable issues so can bring them to flea market, garage sale, some daycare etc...

Date/time format of forum posts
Would love to see the formatting be MM-DD-YY, HH:MM.
Currently it's Mon. DD, 'YY, HH:MM:SS. Having it this way makes it too hard to scan with the eyes quickly. For example, since June & July start with J, I have to look more closely to differentiate between the 2 when browsing forums. Using numbers is easier to recognize I think.
