Make bulk editing the "Notes" section possible.
This would be beneficial when adding new comics or making edits to one's existing collection. I use the notes section when an issue is part of a crossover event (this really comes in handy for me when I export the file and create different spreadsheets using different filters). To only type "Reign of the Supermen" or "Civil War" once instead of copying and pasting it 50 times would be a big time saver and really make it easier for those of us who usually use the mobile site.

Doughboy, thanks for responding to my suggestion. I use the notes section for all kinds of info. Some of them are only relevant to me such as "SOURCE/PRICE/LOCATION/METHOD OF ACQUISITION WAS REALLY AWESOME OTHERWISE I WOULDN'T INCLUDE IT HERE" or "my personal, childhood collection." Other notes I make are of interest to others, especially my customers, such as "Marvel Stamp Series ___ #___", "coupon cut page 8", "cover detached from bottom staple", "1 & O: Someone Other Than Superman So I Probably Will Not Retire Before I'm 40 Thanks To This Comic", etc. But yes, I also include what event they are part of if applicable. The reason for this is I love the export function. Seriously… it f***in rocks! When I carry all my boxes for a show or con, like I'm doing this weekend in NOLA, it's so hectic, I only bring one master list with me. By including that info in the notes section, I'm able to quickly glance and see what I've got in that event, if anything. Since no one else sees my individual notes, I can't imagine there's a "wrong way" to use that section. Information I find inconsequential, may be invaluable to another collector or dealer and vice versa. If he/she buys 50 issues of a particular book for whatever reason, I'm sure they would appreciate the option to write their special note once instead of 50 times. Sorry for such a long reply to your reply. Trying to more clearly express why I think it would benefit more people than just Ziours and myself! :) I think we digressed a bit due to my using events as an example in my original suggestion. And you know I'm more than happy contributing info and/or editing on the site, because I do it as frequently as possible. I also donate regularly via PayPal and just bought 3 CBR exclusive comics last week … I'm def a supporter 100%, dude. I've also added 8,000 or so comics (just 132 more longbows to go and I'll be caught up… nah, never happen!). After 8,000+ additions to my collection, I posted my first suggestion based on my experience. I have no expectations, just hope, because it would make my life easier! I'm not rattling off what I've done here like some braggart, I just wanted to make sure you knew I wasn't some new jack who pops up out of nowhere, adds 10 books, and posts here like he's an expert. Thanks! - Sean

i found using the notes for further cataloging was very usefull since i have a few boxes of books with many issues that have been consigned over to me to handle as my own that belong to others. if i am to differentiate them from each other in the listing, notes is the easiest way to enter those

We already have an "event" report that should show you the reading order for all of the event books and what you own. You can request events be added, and if books are missing you can add them to the list.
This is not the intended use of notes. Notes is supposed to be something specific about the book...not to be used for further sorting/cataloging.
