Expand database to include foreign publishers (e.g. Germany's Ehapa)
I've recently started purchasing DC comics (new and old) from overseas publishers (including German publishers Ehapa and Dino). CBR could attract and support a wider number of users if the database included comics from other countries.

I've found most countries/regions have a website providing a good shared database, perhaps there's scope to import/share?
For example, in Germany: www.comicguide.de or in Australia: ausreprints.net: "AusReprints documents Australian comics, focusing on the neglected reprints from the 1940s to the 1980s. The site has been developed with generous contributions of scans and information from many collectors. Click here for information on how you can help."

we have added some foreign variants and even series...if there is a particular book you want to add, add it to the missing and the mods can discuss adding it...we just added a single issue of a Japanese pop culture magazine...but it had the only Attack on Titans/Avengers crossover in it. i think i can say that none of us mods actually search for foreign books, so it may be that we are just unknowing of it.

How about just adding foreign versions of the really popular books. For example, the Peruvian versions on The Walking Dead, or at the very least the German Hulk 181

finding and staying up to date on these types of issues is extremely difficult...Staying on top of the American market is hard enough before adding south vietnamese versions of elfquest lol...

There is an ongoing debate about this. There are several problems with doing this:
1. Finding a reliable data source
2. Finding a reliable pricing source
3. Entering everything
4. Maintaining everything
5. Finding a way to prevent causing confusion/problems for the 98%+ users that aren't interested
